Grilled chicken with vanilla-flavored rice

Ingredients

- 6 big boneless chicken thighs
- 400g rice
- 1 pinch of curry
- Taro and sweet potatoes
- 1 big onion
- 1 vanilla pod
- Soyou marinade
- Ketchup
- Lemon
- Pepper…

Directions

Cook the rice with a pinch of curry and the vanilla pod, previously cut into small pieces, in the water. The only purpose of curry is to color the rice. In the meantime, you can chop the onion and fry it in a skillet, constantly stirring it. Cook the vegetables in water. If you wish, you can add sugar to the taro. You should, previously, prepare a marinade by blending together the soyou sauce, a little bit of water, the ketchup and the lemon juice. Mix until complete fluidity. Place the chicken pieces in the marinade and let them in that mixture for about 10-15 minutes. Heat and oil a skillet. Fry the chicken pieces until they become colored. Cut them into slices and place them in plates with the vegetables, covered with fried onions and, if you wish of a few slivers of dry mango.
