Cythera Chaud-Froid with vanilla

Serves about 4 people. This dessert may also be realized with mangos.

Cythera Chaud-Froid with vanilla


- 2 big and mature Cythera apples
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 vanilla pods
- Vanilla or coconut ice-cream


Peel the fruits and cut them into thin slices. Place them into a gratin dish, pour the coconut milk on them and sprinkle with sugar. Split the vanilla pods and scrape out the seeds. Add the latter to the preparation, on the fruit slices. Bake under the oven grill until the preparation is slightly browned. Serve this dessert with ice-cream.
